Launched in 2009, the Whisky Maker's Edition was part of the Macallan travel retail exclusive The 1824 Collection. The Edition series is a loose collection of bottles associated with two themes: no age statement and prices around 100. So much so in fact, that they had to open a brand new distillery in 2018, a subterranean architectural masterpiece within the Easter Elchies estate, boasting 36 copper pot stills.
